St. Michaels Winery is located in the historic Chesapeake Bay resort town of St. Michaels, Maryland. St. Michaels is a beautiful waterfront community on Maryland's Eastern Shore with a rich heritage, including shipbuilding, sailing and boating, excellent Bay seafood, shopping, fine restaurants and scenic vistas.
When we founded St. Michaels Winery in May of 2005, we chose the finely crafted Chesapeake Bay Log Canoe for our logo as it reflects the heritage, traditions, and spirit of our hometown.
We craft our fine wines from grapes grown in our 28-year-old vineyard in nearby Wye Mills and our newly acquired vineyard in Henderson, Maryland. Beyond our vineyards, we also use grapes from 5 other Maryland growers, as well as select regional and national growers.
Come visit our Log Canoe-inspired tasting room located in the Historic Old Mill Complex in St. Michaels.
